Joseph Lubin

Joseph Lubin is a co-founder of Ethereum and the founder and CEO of Consensys, the software company behind MetaMask, Infura, and the Linea network. A Canadian-American entrepreneur, he helped launch Ethereum in 2014 and then spent a decade funding core ecosystem infrastructure through Consensys, earning a reputation as one of the network's most committed backers while other co-founders moved on to rival chains. In 2025 he became chairman of SharpLink Gaming, the Nasdaq-listed company that adopted ETH as its primary treasury asset after a $425 million private placement led by Consensys, extending his role as an institutional advocate for Ethereum.
