Martin Köppelmann

Martin Köppelmann is the co-founder and CEO of Gnosis, the Ethereum infrastructure company he founded in January 2015 as an incubation within ConsenSys, originally built as a prediction market platform. He studied IT systems engineering at the Hasso Plattner Institute, and before Gnosis he ran Fairlay, a bitcoin-based prediction market he later sold. Under his leadership Gnosis has built the Safe multisig wallet and the CoW Swap trading protocol, and he has been vocal within the Ethereum community about censorship resistance and decentralization. His talk at Devcon SEA, "Ethereum Needs Native L2," is tagged under appchains and L3s, network upgrades, and protocol, the areas his work at Gnosis has centered on since 2015.
