Luca Netz
Luca Netz is the CEO of Pudgy Penguins and of its parent company Igloo Inc., and a co-host of Uneasy Money, Unchained's weekly show on the onchain economy alongside Kain Warwick and Taylor Monahan. An entrepreneur with an e-commerce background, he acquired the Pudgy Penguins NFT project in April 2022 for 750 ETH (about $2.5 million at the time) after community frustration with its original leadership, then rebuilt it into one of the most recognizable brands in Web3 with physical toys distributed through Walmart and Target and more than a million plushies sold. He is also a co-inventor of Abstract, a consumer-focused Ethereum Layer 2 developed under Igloo's Cube Labs with backing from Founders Fund and Animoca Brands.
