Jason Zhao

Jason Zhao is the co-founder of Story Protocol, a blockchain platform for registering, licensing, and monetizing intellectual property as programmable on-chain assets, where he served as Head of Protocol. Before crypto, he was a product manager at Google DeepMind working on applying AI models to industrial and enterprise problems, and he studied philosophy and computer science at Stanford, where he founded the magazine Stanford Rewired. In August 2025 he stepped back from his full-time role at Story to found Poseidon, an AI venture aimed at frontier industries, while remaining a strategic advisor to the protocol.
