Dean Tribble
Dean Tribble is co-founder and CEO of Agoric, a proof-of-stake blockchain and smart contract platform built on hardened JavaScript within the Cosmos ecosystem. His involvement with smart contracts stretches back remarkably far: in 1989 he co-designed the negotiation process and contract for AMiX, often cited as the first smart contracting system, and he worked at Xerox PARC, Xanadu, and Sun Labs on secure distributed systems. Before Agoric he was a Principal Architect at Microsoft on the Midori research operating system, founder and CTO of Agorics (later acquired by Microsoft), and CTO of VerifyValid and VP at Deluxe, where his electronic check systems carried billions of dollars. On ETV shows he is a frequent voice on chain orchestration, JavaScript smart contracts, and the design of Agoric's IST stablecoin in the interchain economy.
