EZKL creator Jason Morton and Althea Allen dig into zkML at ZuConnect Istanbul, the practice of using zero-knowledge proofs to make machine learning inference verifiable without revealing the underlying model or its inputs. Zero-knowledge machine learning lets someone prove a model produced a given output without exposing proprietary weights or private data, at the cost of significant computational overhead compared to running inference directly. The talk situates this tradeoff for builders weighing whether current zkML tooling is ready for production use.
