but yeah welcome to zk hack mini the finale if you if actually if you don't mind letting people know that they should head over to the stage from the sessions or from the event chat maybe i can actually give a quick um oh yay cool okay so you're hearing me this is awesome so yeah i want to give you just a bit of a sense for how hop in is working there's two chats there's an event chat and there should be a staged chat i believe um yeah and what we're going to be doing today is we're going to be doing a quick intro and then we're going to launch into the panel so let me kick it off so zk hack mini is a two week event series this is our finale
it's been brought to you by the knowledge podcast which i am a host i am the host of and the xeronaut validator um yeah and we we are coming to the end of a two-week sprint mini version of zk hack and it's been a lot of fun what you may have seen us do is we did a number of workshops looking at new zk tools and we also are now concluding the second uh puzzle hacking competition so if you if you participated we're going to talk about that in in a little while and learn about how it went so if you haven't already please be sure to join the discord and follow us on twitter
dis like especially though join the discord because that's where we're me we we will be continuing basically our zika hack conversation um also ps let me know that my audio and video is coming in okay i've had sort of mixed experiences on this ck hack sadly but yeah hopefully it's okay so this is the team that brought you zk hack our team grew this time around and actually i want to add chris who's been helping on the discord and helping kind of in the background he joined the team right as this had already kicked off so thanks to everyone who worked on this project i want to say a big thank you to our partner polygon who built the puzzles our community sponsors enoma aylio owen labs trapdoor geometry and horizon
who really helped us put this thing together as well as our hiring teams who i hope you get to learn about more later today in the job fair basically uh this is polygon leased authority of one labs penumbra twilight and enoma so yeah and then there's the media partner the zero knowledge podcast which uh is is me and so this is actually this is important to mention often people are asking if there's going to be a video of anything we're doing yes there will be that will be on the zero knowledge podcast video channel and i'll we'll share a link in a minute so what to do here i mean hopefully you visited a workshop you hacked a puzzle you won a prize maybe and
maybe you're going to find your next opportunity at the zk job fair so here we are on the last session i'm doing the intro now and we're going to be following with a panel and then the zika hack party uh this is a bit more of the schedule i'm going to kind of go a little quicker through this as mentioned the youtube channel you can find us on the um you can find you can find basically all these videos on our youtube channel on the playlist zk hack and i think we're adding the links to all of these so now i want to invite kobe to the stage to tell us a little bit about how the last puzzle m2 went so let's bring you up kobe hello
oh hello hello hi welcome can you hear me okay is my audio video coming through okay yes it's perfect all good great very nice and you are a fish i am a golden fish very nice okay tell us a little bit about this week's puzzle how did it go sure so yeah this puzzle as we alluded to like can you turn up the heat how do you like your eggs so some of you may have guessed this was about fry which is a component in starks so we try to make it the hardest puzzle in the history of zika
hack which i think bobbin who created the puzzle successfully made it so but it also something that we haven't seen been done before in terms of you know people always talk about how sound stark proofs are and how many queries you need to do for fry but it's unclear how to actually exploit it when you don't do enough so that's what the puzzle was about and um we had 12 people submitting during the week and i mean 12 correct solutions so that's really cool um [Music] and uh yeah we we got a really good
write-up and that we i guess we'll show very soon um yeah and i think that uh i would really encourage people after even after to try it out because i think it can give you a really deep insight into how starks work and how to break fry if you ever want to so let's do it with you very cool someone says kobe's appearance is always my favorite moment i can agree that is always very cool all right kobe i don't know if you want to stick around for a little bit i want to invite chris from enoma and i think
we made a quick we made a small error in the chat the sponsor for this week's puzzle is anoma so welcome chris if you want to share a little bit about the project and yeah say a few words sure thing i don't know why all the names start with a we're also in this weird conspiracy world where like within helix which works on an oma half the people have names starting with a so oh man byzantine majority so i feel like splits with a you should definitely apply there does seem to be like a and zk right like there's a lot of those across a through z and there you go like an anonymous letter you don't know what it is i don't know how to follow a fish
all i can say is that we want to figure out we should figure out like zero knowledge sponsorship for the zero knowledge hack so it's like one of the sponsors if you don't know who it is like where's the sponsorship anonymity set anyways um anoma is thrilled to sponsor zika hack where you do things like break fry because we are building a among other things a private bartering protocol that would allow you to barter your eggs without revealing to anyone that you are in fact the person owning the eggs but just bartering them for toast or other things you might want to fry like cheese and we are particularly looking for help at helix which works on anoma in the areas of zero knowledge cryptography as you might have guessed um working on
um uh some circuits extending sapling for multi-asset shield transfers and a sort of alternate universe version of sexy which we ended up converging to by accident uh supporting private state transitions and in particular interacting with our intent gossip and matchmaking network plus if you have interest in experian i mean good evidence if you have experience and even if you just have interest in uh homomorphic encryption i would love to chat and if you are a fish or your name starts with a like plus two bonus points and will give you some kind of soul-bound nft very nice thanks chris thanks for joining and thanks for participating supporting the uh
hack cool all right i now want to bring up susanna to the stage who's going to share with us the prizes oh or you maybe you want to bring i think susanna also can bring herself up i don't know there you go yeah i think bringing myself but we both clicked all right um so yeah um relatively few surprises in the sense of the prizes are the same as last week so in first place you've got 2500 usdc and then second and third you've got 1000 usdc and then the write-up has 500 usdc so
if we go on to the big reveal yeah as i just mentioned the prize amounts and in third place we have zk session which is a team submission which um anna has a a close affinity with the name i think yeah we actually do an event called ck sessions so cool to see a team uh with that name maybe that's the biggest fans of the event um but yeah in second we have max gillette or g i'm not sure how to pronounce it exactly um
but yeah well done and in first place it's another team trapdoor tech and um this team also got the solution right up so well done on coming first place on the hardest puzzle ever ever the hardest puzzle to date very cool all right thanks guys and i do want to say uh one extra prize that i that i think we did last time and we're gonna do again this time is that the top five participants will be getting our nfts from the zk hack collection which
i'm sorry i sort of threw them on the slide at the very last minute i didn't get a chance to make this slide as pretty as i should have but yeah the top five submissions and and that's like over both uh both puzzles the combined like amounts basically the top five are gonna get some of these and we actually have a bunch of new ones we're going to cap the zike hack collection at 50 but we decided to do the first part was like a lot of fruit and vegetables and the second part was a lot of fish and sea creatures partly thanks to cody's anyway um i want to just mention a few upcoming events if you aren't aware of them in amsterdam next month there's two in-person events that i really want to
highlight one is privacy and cosmos that the validator is doing that zk validator is bringing you and then there's also zk summit 7 which is returning for an in-person event on april 21st and i think we're going to add links in the chat if you want to like apply or attend i want to also mention that right now there's the get coin zk tech side round happening and there's 275k in matching if you want to donate to really cool zk tech or find out about new projects head over to get coin look for the zktec side round and then you should be able to donate all right that leads us to the end of the intro and
