Why We Need Zero-Knowledge Machine Learning

EZKL creator Jason Morton makes the case for zero-knowledge machine learning at ZuConnect Istanbul, arguing that as AI models increasingly make consequential decisions, there needs to be a way to verify what a model actually computed without exposing its weights or a user's private inputs. He frames zkML as a missing trust layer for AI, letting a prediction come with a cryptographic guarantee instead of blind faith in whoever ran the model. The talk positions this as increasingly urgent as AI systems take on more decision-making roles across finance and other fields.
