hey it's superfizz today is January 30th 2023. I'd like to show you this uh Proteus staking machine it's a rock 5B developed by mercadian uh really it's uh Joe clappis from rocket bull Who develops these um but yeah I got the first production unit if you look underneath it says mercadian Proteus model and uh I don't remember the the model extras it's something to do with whether it's wired or uh yeah I saw this somewhere but I don't know and I have the first one and so the cool thing about this

uh I paid 600 for it and it is a rock 5B in a custom case and if you look in there you can see I'm actually standing on a letter right now because I have it up um you can see the rock 5B in a fan and this custom case that Joe has been developing for months and I want to explain why this is such a huge deal so 600 bucks and I get this and on this box I have a uh rocket pull mini pull just one I'm running uh a load star validator and so this machine is taking I guess I don't know twenty twenty thousand dollars worth of ether um but it's fine if you steal this

machine you don't get anything because uh through rocket pull I have a withdrawal address that shows the only addresses that can get the ether and this machine cannot receive ether funds from a withdrawal uh but it takes 10 watts of power so that is uh you know it's I don't know how to put that into perspective but it's nothing uh there are so many ways that you can keep this kind of device running um and you know you you get it you set it up you stick it out of the way when I bought it I plugged it in it asked me to change my password um and then I was ready to use rocket pool it was pre-installed

um you just run rocket pull service configure and you tell it um you know what execution client you want to run or it will choose for you or a consensus client it will choose for you if you want and then you deposit funds into the wallet address that you create you have to set up you have to back up your mnemonic and then you're staking like it's it's really uh I find this to be the Pinnacle of ease of staking with rocket pull at this time it is so right now you can't stake with rocketpool through GUI services like stereo dap node or avado but this machine is the Pinnacle of cheap ease Simplicity for staking with

rocketpool and um really I mean honestly to be staking in general because uh you know you're looking at 32 ether if you stake with a solo which I absolutely support even prefer solo over rocket pool but I have to acknowledge many people don't have that those funds and this is just a neat little solution I'm really proud of Joe lapis for developing it and I'm probably going to run this box forever so thanks guys
