Oblivious RAM for Programmable Cryptography and Ethereum
Devcon 7 · November 2024 · 13:20
Oblivious RAM, or ORAM, is a technique that hides not just the data being accessed but the pattern of which memory locations are read or written, preventing an observer from inferring anything from access patterns alone. This talk covers how ORAM fits into the broader programmable cryptography toolkit alongside zero-knowledge proofs and multi-party computation, and where Ethereum applications might use it.
