Fireside chat with Aya Miyaguchi

Devconnect Istanbul 2023 · 13 Nov 2023 · 30:54

Aya Miyaguchi, president of the Ethereum Foundation and its former executive director, joins this fireside chat at Devconnect Istanbul 2023 to discuss the foundation's approach to ecosystem stewardship. She has shaped a deliberately subtraction-oriented philosophy there, stepping back to let decentralized teams and public goods initiatives lead rather than centralizing control, a stance she has described through the metaphor of Ethereum as an infinite garden that grows through pruning rather than top-down design.
