let's start talking about identity because it's a very important topic when we are developing web 3 we we need to solve the problems with uh dispute resolutions reputation and the identity of people without kyc maybe must but uh identifying people by uh them attributes not just doing a person uh by itself like the whole entire person but identifying small attributes like the phone number the national ID and something to put it on on platforms because the platform in the end they don't need to know everything about you
and kyc can be hacked it can can be leaked and all the data can be like distributed on internet and we are trying to solve that kind of thing using web 3 so let's go to the next one probably yeah here so the the main problem with identity we have to solve one between seven people has identity it's a huge problem to be solved we are talking about like more than 1 billion people without identity and with no identity they don't have access to to education banking Justice or government services for example and with a blockchain
identity it differs from the when we compare to National ID it's the traditional one because we have for example so uh we can solve the problems with the the security of those kind of data and fraudulent identities and it's so easy to solve that kind of thing with a web three identity based on blockchain then we can have a self sovering identity we can solve the case of giving our data and receiving nothing in exchange for our data with a blockchain identity we can solve that kind of thing monetizing our data and we have a lot of portability on data as
well and using a blockchain technology any kind of blockchain we can develop it in many many different Technologies and different blockchains we can have a decentralized public public key infrastructure today it's very centralized on institutions and governments and we can have using blockchain it's very decentralized so it's impossible to do a take over or a take down on on the data we can centralize the storage we don't need more seos or silos um aerating like having all the data together because those kind of places they are like a vector for for
hackers they will attack that kind of thing and we can manage and control all of our data some use cases I don't know prob it's hard to see over here but we can Define this new kind of identity when someone issue someone to you like I I was on the University then I have my graduation certificate when the university issues my graduation certificate it can sign it and put it on my identity as an nft for example then it Sol a lot of things when someone ask for my graduation I can just show that attribute I don't need to get
a paper or call my University to have a proof I was there studying I just can show to someone who asked it the the the certificate of my my graduation sign it by the university and we have blockchain storing and and managing those kind of information then using blockchain is easier and faster for doing those kind of exchanges of information and it can be used by governments universities companies Banks self attestation and utilities here we have just an example like government they issu the national ID your passport your residency and Visa that's the
government what government issues for you but your utility company they can issue for you your phone number for example and you just need to prove that number signed by by the company or for example your birth date in uh otherwise having your birthday distributed on all websites you you participate or you register yourself you just have your birth date is uh recorded by the government and signed by the government as an attribute to know your your identity you don't need to show your birth date anymore because using zero knowledge proofs it's it's more diff message but instead of giving your
birth date the platform asks you are you over 18 just that and the cryptography will answer that that that question and here the use cases we have for government we can have EV voting for cities Travel Health businesses education banking work real estate and e-commerce I know I'm going fast because 5 minutes for presenting presenting identity is very hard and then some uh some platforms where you can find more information about Identity or use their as the case for developing your Solutions on
identity like uport it's the oldest and then we have on polygon the newest using zero knowledge proofs they are more advanced and newer and uh another platform web 3 Al they are using digital and decentralized identities for authentication in many many different platforms as well ID Iden 3 they are pretty cool they developed a lot of SD case for developing and managing digital decentralized identities and some websites for reference maybe you can get some information over there okay and then
okay uh just a slide because I published a book recently so if you want to to know more about web 3 and the story of Bitcoin on a story on a fiction you can find it on my on my book as well it's on Amazon and then questions minutes okay thank you we have a lot to explore in that field but uh maybe I can help you yes I have a question uh thank you for presentation you mentioned a lot of use cases uh about you know web 3 andain what are the risks Associated uh to use we 3 you mentioned like you know
kyc and companies don't need that much of our data as in case of kyc they have but uh can you tell us more about like the risks Associated for example from Banks if they switch for to blockchain the main problem and it's because that it's not being very used yet it's because you need to integrate the supply chain the entire supply chain you need to integrate the issue issuer of the credential like the Telecom will provide you a phone number you'll put that phone number as a credential on your identity they are not prepared universities they are not prepared to issue the graduation graduation certificate on your identity
ad and we are preparing the the ecosystem and the main issue is connecting all the dots and the second main issue is managing private keys because people don't know how to manage private keys they they lose their private keys but you need to try to find ways and they exist but they are not very used too yet uh to recover those private keys with their credentials or trying to transfer the credentials the the from the old old identity to the new identity if you need to change so probably they are the two main issues we
see one connecting the supply chain and second managing private keys with all your credentials okay one more question don't be shy that okay that's perfect thank you very much so the next one is from Theo and he's going to talk about abstract why it's important hi everyone there you go just make sure you click yeah forward and backward or you can use this thank
you uh yeah so hi everyone I'm Santiago I'm the developer correlations for web 3GS uh web 3GS is a open- source library that was created like 10 years ago right now is supported by the theum foundation and it's is right now maintained by chainset which is like a the company that I work for oh yeah the problem that I'm going to talk today is about abstraction uh why abstraction these are some of the advantages of the word abstraction in general that we can use in blockchain uh the first one is unnecessary details sometimes when you are a developer you you don't want to know all the details to be able to build something right like for example you don't know you don't
want to know all the smart contracts of Unis swap you don't want to go through all the code of Unis swap to be able to create tokens or to launch tokens right so at the end of the day you just want to get started and build faster um abstraction also improves a lot the developer experience and the user experience oh I repeat the necessary details that's the same um also easier understand understanding for developers when we create abstraction so some people can can understand that easier uh and then this will also drive more implementation and adoption in web tree because we'll be more accessible for everyone so that's the problem of today I'm going to explain this problem like related to three different like uh subjects the first one will be users the second one developers and the third one
innovators so let's start with the users perfect so the problems for the users basically these are some of the problem that we currently have in web 3 the onboarding process when you want to create a private key a wallet to use metamask all these things are kind of really not not nice right uh the second one is the chain hell I created the term I haven't heard that before but chain H is just there are a lot of chains blockchains networks that you don't even know what to use where to have the tokens the third one is like confusing transactions parameters or signatures when you sign a transaction as a user something you don't know what you sign right you just see like a bunch of hexadecimal values and sometimes address inputs but then for this like user uh problems we have this ideas so we have
for the first one the first one which was the onboarding process so we can have a account abstraction for the second one the chain held we have the chain abstraction for the third one that is the confusion like signatures and parameters we have the EIP 712 uh which is the signature abstraction as well and the last one uh that is the address uh confusing address inputs we have the ethereum name Services the s okay now let's talk about developers so some of the main problems for developers are getting a started time so when you want to build on something sometimes it takes a while to understand everything right you need to to know different different like for example if I want to deploy a smart contract and
I'm a web to developer I need to know about abis about bu code about different networks rpcs so there's like a lot of things that add friction to the getting started time we also have the web to to web transition which is a big issue and something that from web 3js we are trying to to kind of Target to make this transition easier for developers uh we have the protocols hell you have a ton of protocols that at the end of the day you don't know where to get liquidity you don't know which protocol to use so yeah that's like another issue that we have for developers and the tools standards hell so I call everything hell uh this standards hell is just like you have a lot of Frameworks you have hard hat you have Foundry you have different things that at the end of the day you
don't know to use but I I will say that this is actually good because just you can just have your preferences so it's really good to have options for everyone uh and then some of the ideas for these developer problems are like tutorials documentations workshops sdks apis and plugins that's really useful for the web two to web 3 transition uh and then the other ones are just like preferences for each person the protocols and the tools okay and then the Innovation um um so this one is kind of let's say kind of free this is not about finding problems that are like currently in web Tre but this is for example as was saying about the identity you can
create sdks or something about identity related to kind of deliver this abstraction so you can just create new opportunities think outside of the box of the box and add value to current projects but then something that I'm going to kind of pitch today or give you some ideas are the web Tre plugins so the main thing to provide this abstraction is just create by creating developer tooling that's the main idea and then one of the ways that you can create developer tooling is using web three plugins um or your own SDK you can also create sdks that's kind of the main the main thing one of the examples that I have to to show you this developer abstraction is a chain link plugin that we have uh
who knows who doesn't know who is chain link from here okay perfect so chain link is basically it's called oracles because it's a bunch of smart contracts on chain and you can call these a smart contracts to access to for for example the the price of Bitcoin because you cannot get the price of Bitcoin inside the inside the blockchain because the blockchain doesn't have access to external data so to be able to get the the price of Bitcoin you call the chain link oracles and then when you co when you call the chaining oracles you call the contract and then that will retrieve the the value uh 70,000 right to to be able to interact with chaining oracles this is the process that you need to do you need to look for the AI of the contract for the contract address of the contract you
need to initialize the contract you need to call the contract and then you can get the results so you need to do all those five things but then with web plugins we create this abstraction and then you just need to initialize the plugin you call the plugin and then you get the result so we kind of abstract this this uh first three four steps for the developers to provide a better developer experience oh see yeah if you translate this into code this will be something like that I'm not going to go through the code and yeah this is the web plugins so this is like a new thing that we release for web 3GS and it basically allows you to create your own SDK your own interface or your own developer tooling for any project you can create for example a plugin for polygon ID or you
can create your own plugin to create your own identity plugin right so this is basically giving you a lot of ideas like unlimited ideas for for everything you can integrate your own libraries web to libraries and you can do whatever you want uh and yeah the uses of the plugin is basically really simple you just need to my plug-in do the function that you want to call and then the plugin will manage everything under the hood and to finish this this uh five minutes talk uh this is something really important that I was kind of thinking today before the before the presentation we don't need to know how things work we just need to know how to use them so basically we can get a started faster building and yeah that basically
everything thank you so [Applause] much any questions everything was that clear right perfect thank you so much yeah if you need something feel free to reach out to me or or yeah message me on telegram sanago de and yeah we'll be here around thank you see question may yeah actually stupid question this is only to interact with smart contracts not to write them yes yeah this is more for web too so yeah more more Lun interaction yeah yeah Lun interaction yeah thank you perfect thank you um it will make your life much
easier say so the next one is SSD who is going to talk about funding and oops okay just the background uh so I'll try to keep it 5 minutes to to the goal uh I don't have a presentation I thought it was antithetical to the idea uh uh my uh my my problem set my Challenge and the
solution is essentially how do we use token standards to innovate and derive funding like how do we truly do this using token standards and the solution for that is well let's get into the problem first currently right now even though blockchains and Protocols are getting gradually decentralized you know you have identity Solutions you have abstractions happening but the money the funding that happens which you know chains SW uh sorry uh uh the the payment provider will provide you gateways to do so the fact of the matter is Money Talks right there is no way to actually at a grassroot level impact change and impact further
growth of technologies that people seem fit which at some level is kind of funny because blockchain kind of started as this really you know niche cyber Funk Tech so the idea here is uh you know using token standards to do this now what token standard am I talking about if you have heard these three letters uh you're probably going to laugh nfts right I'm not talking about board apes and all of these you know I mean sure board apes are fun as well what I'm talking about is using fractionalized version of these nfts IP nfts actually uh the letter I the letter P and the nft what what does this mean the IP stands for the IP stands for
intellectual property what this means is everything in the blockchain space right now is an intellectual property at the core of it everything we're talking about at the moment is data driven its Concepts it's its identity so how do we use this IP and a token standard that already exists to impact this change the goal here is to use this concept of fractionalization it already exists within the space it's something that has been used so let me walk you through an example of this for example e talin is a hackathon that's happening right now we have identity we have abstraction that has been presented let's say you know there are 20 projects that hack on this and there are top 10 winners a dog gets created and then seeds and creates a uh
creates an IP nft of all of these in individual ideas as these ideas go along the the protocols themselves can then fractionalize and give ownership of these ideas to separate people and what happens is this then allows all these Dows all these further big players in the space to contribute and then have an ownership and a stake and what this further allows is all these fun defi mechanics where people can have prediction markets where you know for example you see this wall of uh the Estonian unicorns there are a few players in this that have similar you know use cases like you could have a prediction Market using these nfts that could bet on which one works and I mean
you may know this living in Estonia that a lot of the industry over here is based on providers like YOLO which you know are gambling providers and this this ability to tap into people's ability to use money to predict is a D5 mechanic that is shunned upon but I feel that if we could theoretically fractionalize these nfts and then have people bet on these and have these prediction markets you then are funding uh grassroot level foundation and this is not just Vapor that I'm selling uh we a wher d which you may or may not have heard is a d that focuses on molecular research and stem cell research they recently raised $1 million from a16z I'm actually
wearing one of their hoodies because I hacked with them on this idea 3 years ago and I've seen it gone quite far but quite true to the theme of things that I feel like they have gone in a wrong direction and I feel that this idea to its core is much much bigger so this is kind of the problem and I'm very excited to kind of talk to people about Solutions and that's basically it I hope I stayed within 5 minutes any questions questions why so than excuse me
EXC so the next one is Robert who is going to talk about for s in web and how uh players can get owners put their own dat no how does that look I think that's fine maybe you can open it with a PDF some lights it's PDF so maybe you have a PDF viewer not really okay I can run with that that's hold on there we go yeah just cool
cool bright bright hair uh okay so I'm Robert I'm going to talk about the microphone I I don't need I don't need a mic I don't think so uh so I'm a product development company founder and we uh build uh software products digital products uh in blockchain Ai and elsewhere recently one of our main uh groups of uh clients has been in sports and uh many of them run into similar problem which is in uh Sports data and uh I have a master master's degree in cyber security I wrote my thesis in Bitcoin uh 12 years ago and that's where I got involved in
everything blockchain scr down down there we go the arrow works so here's the here's the idea I I'll go data but anybody in the team you can come up with a better name we need we need a team member that's everything about naming things you know and uh dataon is a platform where players become owners of their own data it could be football which is the sports that has been uh driving the idea but
every kind of sports has a lot of data that's collected and currently underutilized uh the idea is driven by two of our existing clients one of them is boom stats which is uh doing uh video analysis and uh Gathering stats for the players so basically any type of stream that you have of the game will bring up uh stats for it so who played how many minutes how many passes they had how many failures completions and uh and the like and the other one is Sport Center they are doing smart inss for uh footballers and so the first one is like public data which uh means that you could could watch it from TV and note it
down in your smart device or even even any any type of paper or pen and the other type is private data so those two combine and uh sometimes you want to do analysis where you put the the known and the unknown and you put them together to come up with u insights and those insights are interesting for uh media for people watching the games uh for research purposes we can uh in sports center for example we can predict injuries and we can uh see the recovery from injuries which is even more uh interesting there and uh different types of analytics and when a player is being bought or sold uh
in the markets very often these are high value transactions then uh they are running through Medicals and uh they they will see if the player is fit enough to make the deal and those medical level data is also really interesting and proofs come in there as well the player might not want to share their medical data with everyone but they might have like several teams interested in acquiring the rights to play for them so they might want to prove that I haven't had any injuries in the last three years without sharing uh all of their medical data with the possible buyer so what do we have there um one of
the things is that the players at the moment they don't really own any of their data and uh it can be the clubs or it can be the leagues but there's a big movement with within the players that hey guys we are actually generating this data the more private the data if it's coming from wearables for example the more interested they are that it doesn't get into the hands of uh everybody or at least they could get to decide who gets to see and use the dat and then monetize on it as well obviously in the bigger bigger level of sports champions league Premier League there's lots of uh interested people in uh in knowing about what's going on in in deeper detail and if players give
that access they should be rewarded uh I I believe yeah this scroll doesn't work very well for me yeah anything else with the with sports on blockchain I got few few more ideas here anti-doping is one um players uh and all kinds of athletes they have to show up in uh doping tests regularly and if they miss a few they get banned of course if they are found using some substances they do get banned as well uh but uh this anti-doping process is uh difficult
and as centralized it's a little bit broken and manipulative as well so if a player is carrying all their proofs of whereabouts and proofs of their anti-doping procedures they could present that to enter competitions and then engagement anything that's got to do with uh giving players uh access to for example clips and ownership of Clips nfts come in of course there's several different teams working on that top shots maybe the best example or most successful one doing NBA clips and ownership of NBA Clips
there and more General about the hackson uh I want to see teams that uh Focus uh blockchain being the technology layer and uh building something valuable on on top of it for everyday usage that everybody can understand that's uh making products that are useful and if they have a blockchain component then uh cool if they don't if they don't need it then don't add it there um product Market fit uh biggest question always is does this product need to be fit built is
anybody going to use it and if they're going to use it are they going to pay for it and so those questions can be asked before building and talking with with the clients uh that can be done during the hackaton so I think every team should have someone who is not into coding but someone who's calling people and writing them so and last thing um in hackaton is to have fun so don't care any of the things that I I I said that if your product that you build in heckton will not have a product Market fit doesn't matter you learn something you made some friends you can build something useful later on and yeah [Applause]
questions uh yeah so there's several uh several options but um I would I would think that uh basically in the hub that is decentralized in smart contracts you just uh push them and you keep them um en grouped there so because the player wants to give access to some of the data some of the time to some of the third parties but they don't want to share it all of the time with everybody there might be data that they want to share all of the time with everybody but for example when they are in a position where they want to be scouted then they would want their stats to be known out there because uh very often teams find players just looking at the stats of of
a player they might like be uh okay I need a big striker in my team who is able to score with both feet so they they they make those uh searches basically based on data only so about technically um like I don't have a architecture diagram for you my question was like I imagine using like some variable and this generates data and it's sent for some thir how in this like ecosystem that exist at the moment how can I own so so the idea is that the the the own the owner of the data is is the
player who decides then who gets to use it and when so that's the non-technical uh layer how we technically build it uh I don't have a solution yet but I'm sure it's uh it's doable yeah I have a question about like how do you deal with the the like football club for example or the leagues who actually own this dat because that's how they exist right yeah they have football players put their Superstars and then uh they sell the states or do whatever and you want to change this whole thing and make the player owners of these St yeah that's a great question uh actually the players have started the
movement already to get access for this data they've started like uh um lobbying to get that in Premier League uh 6 years ago six seven years ago they started lobbying to to become the owners of their data but they didn't have any tools to actually uh be in ownership of the data cuz this this data was always centralized and kept in the access of the clubs and the leagues so players are in the bush here so if you give them the tools they will push harder man exclusivity everyone can just save the broadcast of theball match everyone
cans yeah yeah thanks for the question so the public data for sure that can be collected by anyone just watching the games but it does have a ticket cost to it like pools that dis of a game it could be worth from $10 to $150 and if if that could be so player doesn't own that data the data that is shown publicly that I don't think the player will will have any any ownership
but at the same time while they are playing they have they're wearing stuff that monitors their heart rate their movement they have gyroscopes which is which is their power of the movement the speed switching powers and um so the one that we're doing with sport senta they are basically measuring the human gate cycle so how the food swings through the air and by that you can you can show a lot of things that are very very private and that part I think we we would we would include both of them in there at the same time because you need to analyze them at this at together so for example the sing through there and the data related to it does that data doesn't know where the bo
flew so if the ball went into the goal that's that's part of the prob who will talk about buing and and after they will separate yeah it's me slides so before I give you a short overview
about what swap is offering and maybe it was more like the spech type of but then what I want to like point or like maybe put more effort or explain more because today we not talking about here about like traditional sof Solutions but uh I'm more pointing about the solutions what might be helpful for young startups crypto related startups with pre related startups and uh yes I would want to share some
PL yeah some Works about the grpt eCommerce and some trends last if you will take last three four five years then e-commerce is growing every year 30% 30% and if we will add all payment methods including CTO then this sector is also growing about 20 30% yearly and if we will put it together then it is hugee grow and the if you have ideas for
new ideas then this eCommerce sector and adding new Innovative crypto crypto or other methods is defitely one it what what might be interesting and also what one item where I see huge grow is super UPS like if you name like is it or is it so a lot of things are happening inside this soal super yeah
it'sing yeah now the part where I see that slopping and help new businesses especially when three businesses is to the solutions different angles and if most of the crypto businesses are related or CTO PS are related for the traditional businesses how to accept crypto as payment method that get EUR then in many cases we PR related the startups they don't need that kind of solution and uh they need solution how there users then
one and start to use it inside the new business model and here swapping po solution swapping witchet what is exact what these young R businesses uh are each and may is that this solutions been wi is without a process though all businesses can just F application for get two RS of cod and API access and that this one and offer product to their
learning page or to their web with in one day and start to use it and this is very unique and very useful to this what we already discussed briefly and one maybe very interesting dle when threee businesses even if they will establish company they have very hard to get access for account what swapping for what you can
do with swapping actually you can use your pH to pay any Euro invoice or send Euros to any bank account and the trecky part is that the Euros will be sent out Beal of your or your business name this means that actually you don't need to own traditional pank any the lat question then I will explain how it's working and what is needed to get access for this payment
R this what we already discussed and this is the wi part that I mentioned this to your product within one day thank you yes please yeah so basic the idea is that eCommerce owner name and me but how do you deal with the volatility yeah with we we rate for 30 minutes this means that
the payer knows exactly how much crypto they have to send and the merchant can be sure that they will get full amount of euros and yeah this is how we are doing we are working with changes and we are using Hing for [Music] yeah in European Union mostly they prepare VI or CLS and yeah the settlement will be paid out instant all infrastructure is fully non and instant this means that we have
never buing any assets [Music] yeah it's not open but has right to issue dedicated IBS to every user we can issue IBS for private users for companies and this is fully automated and instant and always when we are making settlement to the the beneficiary then the HS will be sent of the CLI this is also very
Innovative and working non produ in Europe iser This solution yeah this is like breach we are breaching traditional and we pre World actually this I see that there's no questions no more questions so yeah thank you
