Anshal Shukla, Ella, and Manav Darji cover enshrined proposer-builder separation, or ePBS, at Devconnect Istanbul 2023, the proposed protocol-level split between block proposers and block builders. The session walks through why moving proposer-builder separation into the protocol itself could reduce centralization pressure and MEV-related risks for validators.
