DeFi Slate 2.0: 'The Rollup' & Looking Forward

foreign it's the roll up guys and today's episode is an explainer of what you guys can expect from us looking forward a little bit of a rewind in the past and kind of what to expect like I said going forward it's your boy Andy here with Robin after three years of running D5 slate we've done almost 100 podcasts tons of different educational content uh articles marketing Community Building awareness have learned ourselves and been traversing the D5 Frontier for a couple years now and we we kind of are seeing where the trend is going and you know what they say don't skate to where

the puck is Skate to where it's going and the puck is going towards roll ups scaling and scaling ethereum so we are excited to announce that D5 slate is now the roll up oh yeah super stoked I like the hockey analogy uh your Canadian is showing and uh and we love it um super stoked for the roll-up and everything that we've got coming down the pipeline so yeah I mean that that was a great little uh you know explainer as far as like what the motivation is you know why we chose to Rebrand I think as a result of like new Cycles we always see new narratives start to pop up and we see where those narratives are going

so we've seen like the the movement off of layer ones not just ethereum but all layer ones whether they're broken or not they start to move to layer twos um arbitrum airdrop you know the last couple days has just been like reamed with L2 uh content and narratives um so you know we we talk a lot about l2s which specifically on ethereum mean arbitrary and optimism um but we chose to go with the roll-up because that includes all of the ZK start net and other scalability options as well um there's tons of scalability uh feces out there

ckdm2 is is coming out in two days dk6 era um their mainnet came out today Stark net just upgraded their test net today arbits from airdrop today coinbase base it's it's yup it's full ongoing there's gonna be more air drops there's going to be more um more more users and so the messaging kind of here is guys we're going to be providing for you a higher level power user content we're we're going to be digging deep in the trenches to find information Alpha new products new toys things that we can get our hands on try out tests alongside you guys and provide you guys with early opportunities D5 Summer s um and and and really do a lot of focus

on research and data driven insights for you guys at a professional scale we're also going to be doing a lot of messaging that is full on onboarding the masses trying to get as many people onto Roll-Ups as possible because we think that they're sticky I think the idea of Roll-Ups and the experience is going to be very sticky I think we'll have some very nice front-facing applications soon that will provide for a much more appealing user experience and I think that on the back end a lot of that's that kind of tech will be built upon Roll-Ups and scaling ethereum I think this is a very very um altruistic and notable kind of Mission to go on which is scaling ethereum for the masses and yeah we're here to help

um so thank you guys so much for being a part of the mission so far um and yeah we're getting excited for v2 here and we're really looking forward to it as always you know our priority is education and uh we're here to be a window through the experts that we talk to and we have on the show two you know you guys that are that are watching on the uh on the other side so we'll keep learning um we'll keep providing highly actionable content that gives you guys insights and uh and actions to take as a result of being early in these protocols and getting early opportunities so stay tuned tons more coming down the pipe and we're super excited for the roll up for sure yeah um crazy crazy Rebrand from Idea Idea a month ago or so kind of we we were kind

of hitting an audience on defy slate that was like too advanced for that for the common folk and not Niche enough for people to really want to pay attention um and kind of seeing a lot of this this traction that Roll-Ups were getting it's so fitting that arbitrum airdrop kind of time perfectly with our Rebrand as well uh for the day after so um yeah definitely excited used a lot of chat GPT for a lot of I ideation here so interesting just to see the AI technology kind of build upon that and I'm sure there's going to be some very very interesting um technology with AI and crypto so that's going to be a very exciting Vector but a strong focus on D5 here guys for the roll up of course nfts um and yeah really going to be wanting

to push forward on um scaling ethereum so I will see you guys on the other side cheers guys
