I am thrilled and honored to stand before you here today um As We Gather for Decon 2023 Decon has become a Cornerstone of our community a place where Innovation collaboration and the pursuit of knowledge converge here on the bank of the river during Berlin blockchain week each year this conference serves as a testament to the remarkable progress this ecosystem has made in the year past it is a moment when we come together to exchange ideas share insights and push

the boundaries of what is possible in our rapidly evolving ecosystem this conference has always had a dual Focus so infrastructure and depths and while we have made enormous strides in the infrastructure Arena over the last couple of years um I expect the coming years to be squarely in the sign of decentralized applications let's leverage this technology we have built over the last years um as puzzle pieces to build depths that are not only usable um but offer genuinely better user experience than their web to equivalents we have embarked on doing

that with nosis pay and nosis wallet which I am sure you will hear about during this conference as well and uh can also find us at the nosis booth so happy to talk about these um but there's of course also plenty of other people here and as we embark on this journey together over the next few days we have a remarkable lineup of speakers workshops and networking opportunities we'll delve into Cutting Edge topics EXP explore emerging Trends um and engage a Hands-On experiences that will Empower you to drive um change and shape the

future dcon is more than a series of presentations and sessions it's a convergence of Minds a Melting Pot of ideas and a place where connections are forged I encourage each and every one of you to actively participate ask questions challenge assumptions and most importantly share your insights and experiences few housekeeping things before I make way for the first actual talk if you've been here before you know that our stage 2 has traditionally been on a boat sounds awesome it's pretty awesome but to the surprise of everyone involved the boat has been denied permission to Anor just a few days ago

so we have no idea why no one has any idea apparently it's never happened before so some frantic replanning had to happen um and stage two is now on the fifth floor Studio a um there are two elevators uh and uh two staircases to get you up and down follow the signage um our sponsors are located out here in uh the main hall um they are fantastic go check them out um they still have socks um the co-working areas on floor four um Studio C um food and drink um and

smoothie trucks for lunch um will be placed outside by the river like the last year's um and there are coffee and drinks cards throughout the venue um today there is a happy hour um after the schedule program it starts at 6:00 p.m. um out back um um out back uh by the um and the Afterparty on Wednesday will take place at a true Berlin cult classic the Prince Charles Club so see you there for sure and last but not least a big shout out to our sponsors thank you for making
