Berlin Upgrade Livestream: POAP.art, Stakhouse Demo, Beacon Chain Transparency, and Album Puzzle

Transcript

all right hello my fellow eastakers today is thursday april 15th i am envetica.eth and this is your berlin network upgrade update the east staker live stream of the ethereum berlin network upgrade was an overwhelming success the staker team had an all-star crew during this milestone event with special presentations from po-op steakhouse beacon chain nether mine teku steak fish and logic beach and this was all happening while we counted down to the live implementation of the berlin network upgrade diving

into some of the highlights let's check some of this out patricia warthalter of po-op debuted the newest addition to the po-op family which is po-op dead art and poop.art is basically a collaborative experience that allows users with existing po-ops access to a communal canvas users can add individual pixels to a blank canvas which can be minted later as an nft on the xdine network in fact if we check out dev.p.r we can kind of see this in action right now i'm gonna sign to participate now that i've signed i'm just gonna kind of zoom in here and it's a fairly large canvas until you start to zoom in and you'll see these individual squares and at this point what we can do is sort of choose a color

and then there we go you get that really satisfying uh noise little sound after you drop an individual pixel and uh this is the whole thing now the very first po-op.art canvas was created during the live stream and was minted with only two now in existence uh one was raffled off to one lucky winner uh during a live poop dot fun raffle and the second is on is up for auction on foundation.app and we can look at that here so if you go to foundation.app the link to this is in the description you'll see the e-staker berlin network upgrade co-op dot art canvas here

and the current bid is 3.08 eth which is incredibly awesome to see this i mean this is not only to me this is a bunch of different things this is co-op history in that it was the first iteration it's the first use of this tool it's ethereum history in that it's the first of this type of application that's been used and we did it during the berlin network upgrade it's just it's so incredibly cool if you're looking to own this piece of ethereum and co-op history head on down to the link again in the description of this video and place your bid but don't feel left out according to the official

up dot art twitter those of you who contributed to the creation of the first ever poep dot art canvas will receive a numbered framed and signed high quality print of the final artwork that is right here we're looking at the official poop.org twitter and we can see that patricio warthalter is holding one of the high resolution canvases here promising for anyone that dropped even a single pixel within that canvas will be sent one of these prints so thank you so much for uh patricio and team po-op for one bringing us this new tool within the uh the po-op suite but also for treating the community with uh with

such priority this has been so cool and i can't wait to get one of my hands on one of these we'll put it up on the wall behind me it'll be a new addition to the community updates moving right along our good friend colfax from mistake house showcased wagyu his one-click gui install wizard which aims to lower the bar for non-technical users in order to spin up an eth1 eth2 client now just a quick caveat here in terms of acknowledging the naming convention switch so the one-click installer used to be named steakhouse that is now uh the name of the formal arm of e-staker staker which is steakhouse and they aim to be the formal tooling

branch of the e-staker community and the one-click installer has now formally been named wagu so you can sort of see how that naming convention works under steakhouse the wagyu one-click installer is now has its own repository which is managed by colfax and company one thing to note here is if you're interested in contributing whether the on the developing side for wagyu or steakhouse in general or you have an idea for something that you think would be nice to have for the ecosystem go ahead and join the e-staker discord at invite.gigi

easttaker there you'll find a steakhouse discord channel and you're more than welcome to help contribute to the branch of east acre or help suggest tooling that you see maybe a need within the industry we would love to have any and all help is welcome last but certainly not least our good friend logic beach from the east acre community debuted his recent project which is a seven track musical album with uh seven corresponding music videos and uh which is a feat in and of itself but what makes this interesting and why we sort of like this within the is that within those music videos and

musical tracks are secret embedded words which eventually open up a uh which comprise a seed phrase and that open up a wallet with one eath inside the first one who solves this puzzle now logic has made an incredible write up on his medium article which will be linked in the description of this video it goes over all of the specific details the origin of the puzzle and more about logic beach 2 and his incredible art i highly recommend you check this out it's always amazing what he's capable of doing and we love the stuff that he produces what an incredible day what an

incredible milestone i am so grateful to have been part of network upgrade and witness the implementation of it in addition to all the incredibly exciting things that were debuted during e-staker live stream just a couple things to note before we wrap up the audio only version or the e-staker podcast has been published and is linked on the east acre website eatstaker.cc along with a full write-up summary of everything that we've talked about with full details and links to everything we've discussed on the live stream that is also published on eastaker.cc and one real quick note here i want to extend a personal thank you

to the east acre community we have hit a a milestone on our social media account we have breached 1 000 subscribers on our youtube channel uh obviously you guys are showing us much love and we appreciate that so we try to do as much as we can for you so be on the lookout for more content be on the lookout for more polished content and be on the lookout for more po-ops all right have a good week everybody bye you
