[Music] thank you I'm Andrea I'm the executive director for the Palm foundation for those of you who have used spam you probably heard it for the Damian Hurst the currency drop we are scalable and resilient and now scaling into an L2 network with polygon we already have different IP in the network including candy with MLB WWE Henny HBO Etc and now that they I don't know why this is looking like that wait

wait so why is a band Foundation here we're here to grow the Palm network and to make it scalable and efficient but what we're trying to really do is democratize Art and technology so we're trying to create um solutions that are no code tools and we are also looking for artists and creators that are diverse and that can um you know fill the space with new voices with new type of Art and with diversity and so the foundation is focusing on giving out grants both now in Fiat and also in the future in Palm especially and focusing primarily in

diverse Community communities our first grantee was Cara Romero who is an indigenous woman from the chimee Webby tribe and we took her for the first time to the biggest Latin American Art Fair in Mexico City called sonamako so this is the first time an art fair has have nfts sold in a conjunction with physical art and what we try to do during this art is also on board people into web3 so we have what we're calling proof of contributions and the last talk was on point those are hard to manage they're hard to scale up and they're hard to to keep safe from civil resistance and from

nefarious actors that might have many tokens to sway about even though the community doesn't want to go in that direction so what the pandau is doing is creating a civil resistant and um together with what we're calling a palmidee so every time you interact with the Palm Network you can claim a proof of contribution these are soul-bound tokens and so what we want to do with the Dao in Palm is have it be a contribution weighted boat not a token weighted boat or in some cases I buy camera boat where you would need contributions and tokens so it doesn't matter in the end how many pound tokens you can acquire based on your monetary or economic standing what matters is the

contribution and the amount of time you spend building minting creating on the palm Network and so every time we go out on a road or or in different you know a activities that we have on the palm Network you can claim a proof of contribution and that's that's second the the token that actually unlocks the different boats for you to decide right now on who the grantees of the different projects that we have on the network will be and in the future also what the network will look like how it will be scaled who can be a validator you know protocol decisions that that will matter and anyone no matter where you're from no matter if you don't have any

liquidity on you can come and claim a free proof of contribution that will help you unlock the boats in the future so our second boat was a collaboration with Nadia from the founder from proceed Riot we had more than a 118 submissions she curated the finalists and then we had a dial about to give the actual grand prize to the win and in the end what we're trying to do now is build open source toolkit for people to also build their own dials within the pandal so the pandau in addition to giving individual grants to those people that

submit art to the Dallas we will create sub-dials so you will be able to submit as of the proposal and you'll be able to say this is a contribution that will bring to the network this is how many tokens we would like these are the the proof of contributions that we would want to have and either you can have a white list for those who will claim proof of contributions for that so thou which would give them the ability to unlock boats to that specific group of of people and that specific governance and Treasury and it immediately gives you also a standing in the main dial so what we're trying to do is become the most decentralized talking launch further in the future where you have the

pandao controlling the majority of the treasury but then you have also sub-dials that can have and replicate the governance of the main dial in each of their organizations have their own treasury have admin super admins and members so that they can actually decide what type of Grant programs they want to utilize how they want to use the treasury and be completely in the dependent from the pandau itself as long as you you know have a within you're you're working with within the ethos of the Dao itself um and so in the end we want to be adult for those so it's a tool that we're launching for anyone that you know what he was saying

is true a lot of people are members of adao but these dolls are only on Discord they're not actually voting on chain and it's hard for you to get for projects to get into that step and so what we want to do is make it easy for a project to utilize these tools and replicate the governance that we are building on the pandau um to to to operate and to self-manage and self-govern your own communities with your own Treasury and hopefully pound token Treasury the other thing that we're doing to pair um the dial and democratize actually this technology is we launched last month the Palm Academy

so people can ask no how do you get proof of contributions well you can learn login to the Palm Academy which is live now the first course what was given by Nadia Riot yesterday we had our second course on um building a digital identity and so every time you take a course which are free you can also claim a proof of contribution that will give you membership to the to the pandal and therefore to the ability to vote on the governance proposals that we have for the pandal and in the future also give you membership to other sub-dials as they are created and approved so also if anyone here wants to

teach a class not only take a class there's a link there for you to submit your your lesson plan or your syllables will approve it and then you'll be able to also teach a class if you become a faculty member you'll also be a member of the foundation so of the Palm foundations of Dao so you'll also be able to vote on the curriculum what classes we we put up Etc so I greatly encourage you to check out the Palm Academy which is part of the Palm foundation and help us grow and build palm and that was very fast so that's the end anyone questions I see no questions if somebody have the questions just
