well thanks uh everybody for coming out um we have a pretty light agenda today I'm just going to go over some erses that have been discussed recently um just to make sure that wallet developers are aware of them um let me just find my Discord here all right so we'll start off with uh e 5792 sorry I'm running a bit late from another meeting uh there we go so this is the um e 5792 wallet call Api so um this is a proposal for uh an interface for batching calls
to wallets uh this is kind of to abstract over the differences between um smart contract wallets and E 7702 uh eoas um the general way this works is is uh there is a uh send calls uh RPC endpoint uh where you list all of the calls that you want to make uh in an array and uh the wallet makes those calls um it also includes something called capabilities for doing uh extensions uh the main extension that's being proposed right now is atomicity uh so by default the uh API requires that all calls pass or no calls
pass um um and then with the atomicity capability you can lower that to um less strict requirements um I'm mostly just raising this because wallets should be commenting on this and uh yeah so there is a discussion thread um linked here uh so please take a look at it uh when you get the chance um cool any questions on this one before I move on awesome all right so the next uh couple we have to look at are for chain specific addressing so let me grab these uh so these are so this this one's
mine um this is a proposal for uh creating addresses that link to an account on a specific chain so for example um this would be an address for example. eth receiving on the optimism chain um sorry someone is about to ask for the link for this so I'm going to post it there all right uh you can also link to um different like test Nets so this is an example of an address linking um on the sapoia test net um yeah so that's this proposal um this is not probably the proposal that's
getting the most consensus um that uh honor Falls to uh this one here which is 7828 um this is a proposal that's accomplishing the same goal um but the addresses look a little bit different uh yeah so their exam their addresses look like this and uh yeah two proposals for basically the same thing um definitely go comment on them they both have their discussion links um and the ERC poll requests are linked on Discord um yeah that's about it for this uh what's yeah 669 is another related one
um yeah so just wanted to make sure wallets have the opportunity to comment on these um they're still early on in the process uh and there is a telegram group for both of these uh if You' like an invite please reach out um I'm on Discord um and that's pretty much it for the schedule discussion for this month um if anybody has anything else they'd like to talk about let me know I would like to maybe take this opportunity while people are thinking of some more technical topic um Sam as we are looking for more reviewers maybe we can invite some of the participants from here who may be interested to become a
reviewer for ERC and help us get get some technical reviews on existing proposals that would be nice to have oh that's a great idea yeah so um Pua is going to be and Me Maybe is going to be hosting um like an intro call for new prospective EIP editors in January um we can put a link to that in the Discord if any of you would be interested in uh reviewing these proposals um from like a formatting and non-technical perspective um yeah if you are Reach Out link will be in Discord and Sam is not a maybe he is a must so how we are planning to keep this Workshop uh we are going to plan a
workshop around this and I'm going to share the link here in chat for people to uh follow and you can also leave your questions uh so how we are planning to go about it like we will definitely provide an overview of e editing process Sam always uh do this editing office hour so we can give a handson demo taking an example so for people who may be interested can ask a question right there with him and then we'll have a Q&A session in order to understand if there are any blockers that we can perhaps help them understand and they be able to help us review proposals like there are so many competitive proposals or similar proposals on ERC repositories and they are like waiting because as an editor he
may be able he or many other editors may be able to uh finalize it um but it would be nice to get some specs related um technical reviews added as well so if you are around if you may be interested in helping and contributing with um reviewing and editing process please join the workshop and the date is January 17th at600 UTC add your questions in the chat if you have any awesome thanks so much P um guess this is a very quick call for um yeah thanks for coming out and you know we'll see you uh next month happy holidays everyone
