Resources infrastructure and the physical things we need in order to create providing the essential building blocks as a means of production for economic activities you can think of material Capital as anything from Iron copper and lithium to roads shipping ports Office Buildings computers and Manufacturing facilities what we use to get work done and make things with and the one we're most familiar with financial Capital this represents currencies Bank accounts Investments and other financial instruments Financial Capital empowers businesses and individuals to fund their Ventures and pursue opportunities for growth and while we all understand how important it

is to have money is just one of the tools in our tool kits of Capital Financial capital is only as useful as the things it can buy and The Leverage it creates on our other forms of capital what use is all the money in the world if you're stranded on an island well we might just make it did that guy ever cross your brain living capital is the currency of what we need to live and Thrive it includes forests bodies of water minerals and clean air but can also include resources for mental health that are often overlooked such as quiet away from noise pollution and biodiversity in nature for the health of

our planet sustainably managing natural capital is vital for long-term environmental and economical balance using what we have in a way that preserves it for future production and well-being our fifth form of capital is intellectual Capital the currency of ideas knowledge and creativity it can take the forms of patents and intellectual property as well as teaching and understanding much of the technological innovation we enjoy today is the accumulation of intellectual capital from the generations prior to us as well as the access to it with public education the internet and now ai experiential capital is the currency of

action the embodiment of experience and wisdom that can't be taught by reading a book but learned through doing if you've ever brought someone onto your team who has the skills you need to get the job done their value becomes quickly apparent electricians Carpenters leaders Visionaries in the Elder of a community are the result of this capital's wealth the seventh form of capital is spiritual Capital the concept of Karma is a prime example of how it can take form in a currency the idea of doing good things will result in good things coming back to you but it can also take many forms such as prayer meditation faith and intention it manifests into a connection

with other people as well as the universe we exist in and results in a peaceful conviction with a willingness to seek understanding although it's more difficult to quantify than the other forms of capital much of our world's problems can be directly linked to a lack of spiritual wealth creating dissent selfish interest and mental health crises in other words a crises plurality and the last but definitely not least form of capital is cultural all other forms of capital may be held and owned by individuals but the cultural capital can only be gathered by a community of people its currency takes form in songs stories Traditions

Heritage and artistic expressions of society it enriches our lives shapes our identity contributes to a social cohesion and creates a belonging within a group but this isn't restricted to just nationality buzzwords in an office that represent a common objective celebrating a marriage or newborn baby sports teams and movie quotes are all microcosms of cultural capital if you've ever seen a Star Trek group meet up to speak Klingon there will only be a point one second took a brick of crocod nugget [Music] proceed or a Star Wars parade with people Marching In costume or even

weirder crypto groups who meet on social media you'll see a unique and interesting value they hold in their cultural capital let's take a moment to look at how these forms of capital apply and keep in mind in many ways they are very interconnected so more often than not that there isn't a clear divide where something is only one form of capital without also being associated with several others let's take a look if someone created a charity to drill Wells for water in third world desert regions they will be creating material living and social capital or a scholarship program helping students who can't afford education to get into college for

certifications and degrees and they can be actions too like providing food to the homeless or celebrating a holiday or life event as you look at everything from public goods to four profit businesses any value they produce fits into one or more of these categories without them they'd have no value let's look at a few more examples how about LinkedIn that fits into the Financial social intellectual and experiential or Whole Foods material living cultural what about National Geographic intellectual spiritual cultural a green pilled our goal is to build

economies that regenerate all eight forms of capital not just Financial capital and one way we've done this is by creating a foundation for people to join our community and form chapters Each of which are built around creating regenerative sources of capital and by having all of these communities within greenpilled each working towards their own goals combined we are able to holistically create value across all eight forms of capital are you interested in joining a chapter join the movement in our Discord and by checking out greenpill.network follow us on Twitter at greenpill net help us out by giving this video a like And
