[music] [applause] [music] [applause] Okay. Uh, hello everyone. [clears  throat] My name is Juan. I'm going to talk about Ethereum virtual blockchain machines.  Like a new idea. You can have virtual blockchains in Ethereum or in any layer two. So just  for context I work for Cello a layer 2. I'm part of the governance team. I also build  communities for cello. I have also been working in the re space in Colombia. But this time I'm  I'm here as a EBBM ambassador. It's a project of some friends and I like from Mexico. They  deployed they started the project this project in in Denver like three years ago. And so today  I'm going to show you why virtual blockchains over

EVM blockchains and what are the problems that we  are solving with this with this new technology. So first so far we have we have  like a lot of problems actually that needs to be solved in in Ethereum the mainet  like Ethereum mainet or any other layer too. We have a we have a lot of problems to solve  with compliance with token incompatibilities. For example for the X402 payments you need to  you need to wrap the tokens. We have like so many complex solutions for privacy. We are also  we have also postquantum resistance problem and the gas and abstraction. You need  like a lot of tools to make this happen

and the multi-chain composibility and the  liquidity like spread across the like so many different chains and you need a lot  of bridges and stuff to solve this. So there is another option and that is that  is the option that we want to bring uh to to the public like there is another option to  solve this these problems. These problems are going to take long time to be solved in in in the  blockchains because they need to to make like some upgrades to the core contracts of the blockchain  and if you want to avoid this you can you can have like another another option. So EVBM solves all  these problems. With EVBM you can have gasless UX. You can have a account abstraction. You  can have full composibility. You can have CK CK

included in the in the in the new virtual  blockchain when you deploy the virtual blockchain. You can have native payments X 402 payments.  And you can also have like async nodes like the the nodes the the possibility to have async  nodes and parallel execution of transaction is something that it was not it was not able  to happen before and now like two weeks ago in the the magician blockchains there is a an EIP  being disclosed to make Ka nons in in in Ethereum and this is going to take like a long time to  be discussed to be proposed to be implemented and with EVBM we we can have a sing notes like two  years ago. So if you want to take a look at the

at the proposal at our comment, we also leave a  comment in the proposal explaining how you can use CVM for the asyn you can scan the QR code and  you can go to to the forum and take a look at the at the whole proposal they posted and take a look  at our answer we give them and you can also like take part of the conversation that is happening  there. So what what is actually like EVVM? EVVM is just like a set of contracts that you  deploy in a blockchain. You can deploy like this set of contracts in Ethereum, in base, in cell in  any any blockchain that you want to deploy and you deploy when you deploy this set of contracts,  you deploy like a new environment. You deploy

you configure how the things are going to happen.  So you can put your own rules. So if you um let let me go to the next one because  this is very the the best way to explain like imagine you are a bank and you wanna you want  to have like a whole environment to be able to do to do transactions fully compliance with K  with with KYC and you want users to pay gas. So for that you have you have to do a lot of things.  You have to do a lot of things in in the UX part.

You have to deploy a lot of contracts and  for you to be able to do this in a new chain. So you will need to build a new chain and launch  a new chain you need to have you need to have validators. You need to have you need to deploy a  lot of contracts. you need to pay a lot a lot of money in audits and all these kind of things.  Instead of building a new chain, you can just deploy a virtual chain and when you deploy the  virtual chain you put your rules. So for example, a bank can deploy a virtual blockchain and the  bank can can say like okay every every address that is going to is going to be created in this  in this virtual environment need needs to be needs to go through a KYC process before and  every transaction here is going to be gasless.

You can put all your all your rules  in the in the in the in the in the in the set of contracts when you deploy the  the Ethereum virtual blockchain and then when you set this environment any  the app built inside this environment uh takes takes the rules of the virtual  blockchain. So what is different between deploying a virtual blockchain machine or deploying a smart  contract? A smart contract put the rules for one app. A virtual blockchain machine put  the rules for the whole environment. So that's what I already said to you like  instead of deploying a a new L1, L2 or L3,

you can just deploy the EVBM. So you don't need  validators. You don't need to run nodes. You don't need to you you're not going to take 12 months,  one year to deploy a a new blockchain. It's not going to cost you that too much. You you don't  need to you are not going to need to do like a lot of m maintenance to the to the contracts, a lot of  audits and all this kind of thing. You always need gas in a new blockchain. In a virtual environment,  you can skip the gas. you can abstract the gas. So instead of launching new blockchains,  you can just launch virtual blockchains and you are going to benefit you are going to  benefit and you are going to inherit all the all the all the audits all the security from the  chain that where where you deploy the the ABVM.

So in 2026 this is the prog the progress  we have been made. Um we have been testing with a lot of a lot of developers. They have  been deploying some virtual VBMS. They have been experimenting like putting their  own rules and just kind of testing how how it can works and finding some use cases.  So uh we have deployed in base in arbitrum in monad I don't know how this point okay in monad  in a in sepoleia in base sepoleia in BMBB etc and yeah that that [clears throat] is that  is like basically the idea of EVBM

uh you can do EVBM for you can have like bank BBBM  KYC BBBM a virtual virtual machine for agents, for jail, for whatever. I mean, you can just  say you can just put your rules and create the AVBN that you want uh to have. This is how  this is the QR for the for the Telegram. Uh you can you can go there you can check the GitHub  repo you can take a look at the documentation and you can also deploy EVBM just you can deploy  EVVM just in one minute you just it's just like two three C cli commands and you put some rules  and you deploy EVVM and from that you can start

like configuring the the rules of the virtual  blockchain machine and all these kind of things. [music] [applause]
