Tarun Chitra

Tarun Chitra is the co-founder and CEO of Gauntlet, a simulation and risk management platform for crypto networks and DeFi protocols that he founded in 2018 and has since grown into a leading onchain vault curator. He is also co-founder and partner at Robot Ventures, an early-stage crypto venture firm, and a regular co-host on The Chopping Block roundtable and the Zero Knowledge Podcast. Before crypto he worked at D. E. Shaw Research and in high-frequency trading at Vatic Labs, after studying mathematics and applied engineering physics at Cornell University. He has co-authored more than 25 peer-reviewed papers on crypto and DeFi economics, including influential research on the security of Uniswap and Compound.
