Ryan Watkins

Ryan Watkins is the co-founder of Syncracy Capital, a thesis-driven crypto hedge fund he started with Daniel Cheung in 2022 to make concentrated bets on what they see as the secular winners of the cryptoeconomy. Before founding the fund, he was a senior research analyst at Messari and earlier worked as an investment banking analyst at Moelis & Company, after studying finance and computer science at Fordham. He is widely cited for Syncracy's published research, including its Solana and Hyperliquid theses, and is a regular guest on shows like Empire, Unchained, and Bankless discussing fund management and market structure.
