Ryan Selkis

Ryan Selkis is the founder of Messari, the crypto research and data firm he started in early 2018 and built into one of the industry's best known analytics platforms. Before Messari he was part of the founding teams at Digital Currency Group and CoinDesk, serving as managing director at CoinDesk, and he holds an MBA from MIT. He became one of crypto's most visible advocates in Washington through his annual Crypto Theses reports and outspoken political engagement. In July 2024 he stepped down as Messari CEO after controversy over his political statements on social media, remaining involved in an advisory capacity.
