Phil Daian
Phil Daian is a co-founder of Flashbots, the research and development organization that built much of Ethereum's MEV infrastructure, including MEV-Geth, MEV-Boost, and the SUAVE initiative. While a PhD student at Cornell's IC3 group, he was lead author of the landmark 2019 paper "Flash Boys 2.0," which named and defined the maximal extractable value (MEV) problem on Ethereum and shaped years of protocol research. He remains one of the most influential voices on transaction ordering, block building, and the economics of Ethereum's supply chain.
