Muneeb Ali
Muneeb Ali is the co-creator of Stacks, the leading Bitcoin layer for smart contracts and decentralized applications, and the CEO of Trust Machines, a company building out the broader Bitcoin application ecosystem. He co-founded the project as Blockstack in 2013 out of his Princeton PhD work in distributed systems, and it rebranded to Stacks in 2020, with the affiliated company becoming Hiro. Under his leadership the project raised more than $200 million from investors including Union Square Ventures and Y Combinator and ran the first ever SEC qualified token offering in 2019, a landmark in US crypto regulation. He is one of the main characters in George Gilder's book Life After Google and served as a technical advisor to HBO's Silicon Valley.
