Mathilda DV is chief of staff and head of operations at Gitcoin, the Ethereum public goods funding platform founded by Kevin Owocki. Based in South Africa, she has been with Gitcoin for close to four years, joining around its GR15 funding round in 2022, and as of an August 2025 governance forum post continues to own the organization's Grants program. Her earlier title at Gitcoin was content and campaign manager. Her ETV talk, given alongside Owocki at ETHBoulder 2026, covers Gitcoin's evolution from its centralized Gitcoin 1.0 grants era through the Gitcoin DAO period to Gitcoin 3.0, including the shift toward smaller, more frequent, domain-first funding rounds oriented around d/acc, or defensive acceleration.
