Martin Derka
Martin Derka is a co-founder and technical lead at Zircuit, an Ethereum layer 2 network built on a hybrid of optimistic and zero-knowledge rollup technology. He holds a PhD in computer science from the University of Waterloo and spent several years at the smart contract auditing firm Quantstamp as a senior research engineer and head of new initiatives, work centered on Ethereum security. He has spoken at conferences including ETHTaipei, ETHPrague, and Proof of Talk, covering topics such as rollup architecture and the EIP-7702 account abstraction standard. His talk in the ETV archive, given at Pragma Buenos Aires on how DeFi protocols build and break themselves, draws on that background in smart contract auditing and security.
