Laurence Kirk
Laurence Kirk is the founder and CEO of Extropy.io, a blockchain and cryptography consultancy based in Oxford, UK. He had been following blockchain technology since 2013 and left a career in traditional finance in 2015 to work in the space full time, building Extropy around smart contract security audits and full stack decentralized application development. He is a co-founder of the Oxford Blockchain Society, runs meetup groups for Ethereum and Mina, and teaches bootcamps on zero-knowledge proofs, zkML, and advanced Solidity. He is a regular speaker on the web3 conference circuit and a frequent volunteer at the Ethereum developer conference. His ETV talk at ETHWarsaw extends that background into newer territory, covering how autonomous, agentic systems might be applied to community coordination and public goods.
