Katie Stockton

Katie Stockton is the founder and managing partner of Fairlead Strategies, an independent research firm and registered investment advisor she launched in 2018 that specializes in technical analysis across equities, commodities, and digital assets. She also manages the Fairlead Tactical Sector ETF (TACK), a rules-driven fund built on her firm's technical process. Before founding Fairlead she spent more than two decades on Wall Street, serving as Chief Technical Strategist at BTIG and Chief Market Technician at MKM Partners, with earlier roles at Morgan Stanley and Wit Soundview. She earned the Chartered Market Technician designation in 2001, later served as Vice President of the CMT Association, and is an official CNBC contributor widely quoted on bitcoin and broader market technicals.
