Joseph Chalom
Joseph Chalom is the CEO of SharpLink (Nasdaq: SBET), one of the largest publicly traded companies to adopt ETH as its primary treasury reserve asset. He joined SharpLink in July 2025 after a 20-year career at BlackRock, where he rose to Managing Director and Head of Strategic Ecosystem Partnerships and helped pioneer the firm's entry into digital assets. At BlackRock he was instrumental in launching the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), the iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA), and BUIDL, the first tokenized U.S. Treasury fund built on Ethereum, and he architected partnerships with Coinbase, Anchorage Digital, BNY Mellon, and Circle. Earlier in his BlackRock tenure he served as COO of BlackRock Solutions, the division behind the Aladdin platform, and he has sat on the boards of Securitize and ClarityAI. On ETV shows he is a leading voice for the institutional Ethereum thesis, arguing that ETH is the trust commodity underpinning tokenized finance.
