Jeremy Allaire

Jeremy Allaire is the co-founder, Chairman, and CEO of Circle, the issuer of the USDC stablecoin, which he has led from a 2013 bitcoin payments startup into a publicly traded internet financial platform. USDC, launched in 2018 with Coinbase, has grown into one of the world's largest regulated stablecoins and a core piece of onchain dollar infrastructure. Allaire is a veteran internet entrepreneur: he co-founded Allaire Corporation with his brother in 1995, creating the ColdFusion web application platform, took it public, and sold it to Macromedia, where he served as CTO. He then founded the online video company Brightcove in 2004, leading it as CEO through its 2012 IPO before turning his attention to digital money.
