Jeff Garzik
Jeff Garzik is one of the earliest Bitcoin core developers: after discovering the project via a Slashdot post in July 2010, he became the top contributor by commit count behind Satoshi Nakamoto and Gavin Andresen, wrote cpuminer, one of the first standalone Bitcoin mining tools, and authored proposals such as BIP 100 during the block size debate. Before Bitcoin he spent a decade as a Linux kernel developer at Red Hat, work that now ships in every Android phone, and he served on the board of the Linux Foundation. He co-founded the enterprise blockchain firm Bloq in 2015 and is now co-founder and CEO of Hemi Labs, which is building a modular layer-2 network connecting Bitcoin and Ethereum.
