Jacek Trociński
Jacek Trociński is the founder and lead of DEGEN, a token that began as a reward for engagement in Farcaster's degen community channel and later grew into DEGEN Chain, a layer 3 built on the Arbitrum stack and settling on Base. He spent roughly a decade as a software and data engineer before starting DEGEN in December 2023, including a multi-year stint at hedgehog.app, a Y Combinator-backed crypto startup. DEGEN's engagement-based airdrop, distributing tokens to active Farcaster posters rather than to buyers or insiders, became one of the more closely watched community token launches to come out of the Farcaster ecosystem.
