Iftach Haitner
Iftach Haitner is a cryptographer whose research covers the foundations of cryptography and computational complexity. He received his PhD from the Weizmann Institute of Science in 2008 under Omer Reingold, was a postdoctoral researcher at Microsoft Research New England, and joined the Tel Aviv University School of Computer Science, where he directed the Check Point Institute for Information Security. His work has been recognised with best paper awards at CRYPTO 2006 and ICALP 2006 and a SIAM Outstanding Paper Prize in 2011, and he served as an editor of the SIAM Journal on Computing. He has worked as a cryptographer at Unbound Security and Coinbase and is a principal researcher at the Stellar Development Foundation.
