Hasu is a pseudonymous crypto researcher who has served as strategy lead at Flashbots, the research and development organization working to mitigate the harms of MEV, since 2021. He has been a strategic advisor to Lido, Ethereum's largest liquid staking protocol, since 2022, and was previously a research collaborator at Paradigm and a MakerDAO delegate. He co-founded Deribit Insights, one of crypto's premier research blogs, and co-hosts the Uncommon Core podcast (now Uncommon Core 2.0 with Jon Charbonneau). His writing and research on staking market structure, MEV, and blockchain economics are among the most cited in the industry.
