Gottfried Herold
Gottfried Herold is a researcher on the Ethereum Foundation’s cryptography team, specializing in public-key cryptanalysis. His work examines the security of cryptographic constructions and the mathematical assumptions they rely on. He has co-authored research on provably secure networking for data availability sampling. He also contributes to Ethereum protocol discussions about state-tree design, encrypted mempools and post-quantum security.
