Do Kwon

Do Kwon co-founded Terraform Labs in 2018, the company behind the Terra blockchain, its Luna token and the TerraUSD (UST) algorithmic stablecoin. The Terra ecosystem collapsed in May 2022, wiping out about $40 billion. Kwon pleaded guilty in August 2025 to wire fraud and conspiracy to defraud in a federal court in New York, and was sentenced to 15 years in prison in December 2025.
