Clemens Scherf
Clemens Scherf is Base's Country Lead for the UK and EMEA, working to grow Coinbase's layer-2 network across the region. He has worked in the blockchain industry since 2018, having served as a blockchain research analyst at a Hong Kong ICO advisory firm, a technology consultant at PwC, and an ecosystem builder at NEAR Protocol before joining Base. He holds an MS in Analytics and Management from London Business School and a BA in Economics from Bocconi University, founded blockchain societies at both schools including as founding president of the LBS Blockchain Society, and co-founded Cambrian Collective. His ETHWarsaw talk, "Bringing Europe Onchain," covers wallets, regional regulation and tax, and design and UX as they relate to bringing Ethereum to users in Europe.
