Chamath Palihapitiya
Chamath Palihapitiya founded Social Capital in 2011 to invest in technology businesses and partner with entrepreneurs. The firm’s strategy spans areas such as life sciences, energy and deep technology, and includes investments made with Palihapitiya’s own balance-sheet capital. Before Social Capital, Palihapitiya was an early member of Facebook’s senior executive team, leading the development and launch of platforms supporting its international growth.
