C. Thi Nguyen
C. Thi Nguyen is a philosopher at the University of Utah who studies how games, technology and social structures shape agency and values. His book Games: Agency as Art examines games as an art form built around what players can do and won the American Philosophical Association’s 2021 Book Prize. In The Score: How to Stop Playing Somebody Else’s Game, Nguyen explores how scores and metrics can displace the values they are meant to measure.
