Brendan Farmer

Brendan Farmer is a co-founder of Polygon Zero, the zero knowledge arm of Polygon, and one of the leading figures in ZK scaling research. After studying math and philosophy as an AB Duke Scholar, he co-founded Predicate Labs with Daniel Lubarov in 2019 to build Mir, a protocol centered on recursive zero knowledge proofs. Polygon acquired Mir in December 2021 in a deal valued at roughly $400 million, and the team became Polygon Zero, releasing Plonky2, which set a new performance benchmark by generating recursive proofs in 170 milliseconds on a laptop. He has since been a key voice on Polygon's aggregated blockchain vision and its role in scaling Ethereum.
