Beau Shinkle
Beau Shinkle worked on tBTC at the Keep Network, designing a bridge that lets bitcoin be represented on Ethereum. The protocol-design work examined how operator incentives and assumptions about honest behavior could reduce the collateral requirements that constrained the first version of tBTC. That work informed a design using groups of signers and a coverage pool to balance the bridge’s capacity with the risk of operators stealing funds.
