Augusto Teixeira
Augusto Teixeira co-founded Cartesi, a layer 2 project designed for computationally intensive blockchain applications. Teixeira co-authored Dave, a fraud-proof algorithm designed to keep decentralized verification practical even when attackers create many competing identities. A professor at the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics in Rio de Janeiro, Teixeira also researches probability, including random walks and percolation.
