Arjun Bhuptani

Arjun Bhuptani is the co-founder of Everclear, the cross-chain clearing layer previously known as Connext, which he started in 2017 as one of the earliest Ethereum interoperability and layer 2 projects, shipping a state channel based L2 in 2018 and later popularizing the term "chain abstraction." A physicist by training, he is also a co-creator of Moloch DAO, one of the first and most reused DAO frameworks in Ethereum governance. In May 2026 Everclear announced it was winding down its Foundation and Labs entities after processing more than $6 billion in network volume over nine years.
