Alex Ozdemir
Alex Ozdemir is a computer scientist working at the intersection of cryptography, compilers, and formal verification, with a focus on making zero-knowledge systems easier to build and safer to use. He earned his PhD at Stanford advised by Clark Barrett and Dan Boneh, where he created the CirC compiler infrastructure and co-authored the influential collaborative zk-SNARKs work on zero-knowledge proofs for distributed secrets. After a postdoc at the Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy, he joined Georgia Tech's School of Cybersecurity and Privacy as an assistant professor, and he remains a frequent contributor to the Zero Knowledge Podcast's study clubs and workshops.
