Alex Evans is a partner at Bain Capital Crypto, where he works with founders on open architectures and user agency, and he is one of the more research-driven investors in the industry. Before joining Bain he was an early-stage investor and researcher at Placeholder, and his published work with collaborators including Tarun Chitra and Guillermo Angeris spans constant function market makers via convex optimization, multidimensional blockchain fee markets, and differential privacy in DeFi.
